Sit With Me Sunday–Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is the day when Christ entered Jerusalem on a donkey. Many residents of the city believed him to be the Christ who was foretold and welcomed him by waving palm fronds. On this day we “look forward to Jesus Christ’s final, triumphal return when all the world will recognize him as Lord and King. Having conquered death, he will, in due course, return to Jerusalem—and all the earth—in glory.”
This can be a Sunday when many return to their home ward or attend a ward for the first time in years. In many wards, this will be a Fast Sunday. We hope that you will all find a warm welcome experience and that you make new friends at church on this day. Much love and best wishes.

If you want to ‘be a friend’, you can add yourself to the list of participants who welcome LGBTQI people to attend church with them. If you want ‘find a friend’ to sit with, check the list for a ward near you.
